Noel Redding, Bass player in the Jimi Hendrix Experience in his diary wrote, “Sheffield was terribly enthusiastic about us and we got torn apart coming out of the hall, losing clothing, glasses, hair. I always wondered what would happen if the detachables and semi-detachables (like hair) ran out.”

The Sheffield Star reported, “Like an electrified golliwog, Jimi Hendrix threw himself into a live-wire act that featured his intricate guitar interpretation. Quite an EXPERIENCE.”

After their London concert, the package tour played in 13 more cities between November 18 and December 5, playing two shows at each venue. Many consider this band package one of the best to tour the UK.
